This picture is of a sewing machine from Impactiva. Quality assurance is when a garment is judged based on value. The QA inspector would inspect the whole garment and decide if it should represent the company that they were hired by or not. It is important to have a QA inspector with standards because you want to encourage future sales and a good reputation. Examples that a QA inspector would look for on a garment would be seams, stitches, cuts, fabric choice, reliability, durability. I think inspectors are very important because they have the final say and show their honest opinion because that is what they are being paid for. Inspectors also need to be picky because sometimes clothes fall apart or rip apart if not sewn correctly.
